ADMISSION GUIDELINES (UNDER GRADUATE DEGREE)

ELIGIBILITY
For UG Programme in Arts, Commerce & Science: Higher Secondary (HSSLC) or other equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board.

  • Arts: Minimum of 40%
  • Commerce: Minimum 50%
  • Science: Minimum 50%
  • Students will be admitted on the basis of merit and depending on the availability of seats.
  • There is no guarantee that all those who are registered will be selected for admission.

A candidate shall produce all relevant documents in original for verification (Registration cards, Mark-sheets, Admit Cards, and Certificates as per MBOSE and other recognized Boards and Universities.

ADMISSION GUIDELINES (HIGHER SECONDARY)

ELIGIBILITY
For Arts/Commerce/ Science stream: Secondary (SSLC) or other equivalent examination passed applicants.

  • A student with minimum of 45% in the aggregate can apply for arts stream.
  • A student with minimum of 45% in the aggregate and 45% in the commerce subjects can apply for commerce stream.
  • A student with minimum of 50% in the aggregate and 50% in the Science subjects can apply for Science stream.
  • Students will be admitted on the basis of merit and depending on the availability of seats.
  • There is no guarantee that all those who are registered will be selected for admission.

A candidate shall produce all relevant documents in original for verification (Registration cards, Mark-sheets, Admit Cards, and Certificates as per MBOSE and other recognized Boards.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR THE HIGHER SECONDARY & THE UNDER GRADUATE PROGRAMME

  1. Admission process begins soon after the declaration of MBOSE SSLC and HSSLC Results.
  2. Application Form cum Prospectus is available in the College Office during working hours (8.30am – 3.00pm, Monday to Friday) on payment of Rs 300/-
  3. The filled in application form has to be submitted and registered in the College Office on or before the date specified along with the xerox copy of Mark sheet of Class X & XII.

DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION
  • A copy of Marksheet, Admit Card; 1 passport size photo
  • Original MBOSE or Equivalent Recognized Board Registration Card.
  • The Original Marksheet should be produced for inspection at the time of interview for admission.
  • Applicants coming from outside Meghalaya Board must produce a Migration Certificate.

FEE POLICIES & RE-ADMISSION
  • The Admission Fee and Tuition Fee of first installment are to be paid at the time of admission.
  • All College dues are to be cleared before the issue of Admit Card.
  • Fees once paid will not be refunded.
  • Tuition Fees of the year are paid in two installments.

RE-ADMISSION: Loyolites who appeared their II & IV Semester Examinations (UG) must take re-admission by the stipulated date announced by the College on payment of Re-Admission Fees and first installment tuition fee.
