Our Heritage & Mission
Loyola is a Jesuit College at Williamnagar. It is the definitive statement of the Society of Jesus that providing the highest quality higher education to students in remote, underdeveloped, and neglected areas is an important part of its work.
‘Arise and Shine’, the motto of Loyola College, is derived from the Jesuit principle of magis — ever greater, ever better: excellence. The mission of the College is to instill in young men and women not only with knowledge but also with spiritual, moral, and aesthetic values which will prepare them for a life of achievement, service, and fulfillment.
